Re: My first Parka!
Yoi, your B3 must be proud to have a hunting parky like that!
Anyway, I am a super sharer of patterns so if anyone wants a pattern for mukluks, mittens, hats, gloves, etc...just ask, I'll make a copy and send via snail mail. Once I asked a lady for a pattern for her hats, she told me NO. I was floored. So, I bought a hat from her, cut it up, made a pattern, and then sewed it back up, then shared the pattern with anyone who asked. Because that's the Inupiaq way...teach, share, give. Parkies though...that's a different story. For a man's parky I'd suggest making a pattern out of a hooded sweatshirt, otherwise you'll have to come visit me and learn!
I also love to hear constructive criticism. I'd love to be better at sewing. Skins and cloth... if you have a technique, share!

Re: My first Parka!
Thanks!
I made this one for me! Sometimes if the weather is not TOO hardcore I will go with him hunting or checking traps. I'm also looking forward to using this for ice fishing!
