Caribou stroganoff....
A little bit different than the normal alutagaaq.
Cut caribou into thin strips and fry over medium high heat with a few chopped cloves of garlic and a quarter of an onion chopped. once mostly done add a few dashes of worchestire sauce, pepper, and salt. Add a can of cream of potato, and about 1 cup or so of milk. Stir over heat till simmering then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes or until you like the thickness of the sauce.
*note* in the village it's sometimes hard to get sour cream but if you got it just substitute half the milk for sourcream......much more yummy!
While I'm cooking this I boil in water some egg noodles. When they are done I strain then return to pot and add a few tablespoons of butter. Stir when butter melts.
Serve meat and sauce over buttered noodles.
